In Serbia and Montenegro, the newly-established Ministry for Human and Minority Rights took over the affairs of the Federal Ministry of Justice in the section related to the exercise and oversight of the freedoms and rights of man and the citizen guaranteed by the Constitutional Charter, international treaties and the domestic law, as well as those relating to extradition.
