8.1 Design, Construction, Installation, Operation, Use, Repair, Maintenance and Alteration 8.1.1 Where practicable, plans and specifications in respect of new electrical facilities and/or major alterations to existing facilities, including plans relating to the installation or relocation of equipment and the location and siting of work areas, shall be submitted to the appropriate municipal or provincial agency for review and comment prior to the commencement of such work.

(révisé le 16 mai 2007) « prise de terre de sécurité ou mise à la terre de sécurité » (safety ground or safety grounding) désigne un système de conducteurs, d'électrodes et de serre-fils, de connexions et de dispositifs qui raccorde électriquement à la terre une installation électrique coupée de la source afin de protéger les employés qui travaillent sur ladite installation contre un choc électrique dangereux.
