وأكد رئيس مجموعة دول أمريكا اللاتينية والكاريـبـي على تعزيز برنامج أنشطة مكافحة الإرهاب، وتعميم المعايير والقواعد، وحماية التراث الثقافي، وتنفيذ إعلان فيينا بشأن الجريمة والعدالــة: مواجهــة تحديات القرن الحادي والعشريــن (مرفق قرار الجمعيــة العامــة 55/59) والأعمال التحضيرية لمؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الحادي عشر لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية.

The Chairman of the Group of Latin American and Caribbean States emphasized the strengthening of the counter-terrorism programme, the dissemination of standards and norms, the protection of cultural patrimony, the implementation of the Vienna Declaration on Crime and Justice: Meeting the Challenges of the Twenty-first Century (General Assembly resolution 55/59, annex) and the preparations for the Eleventh United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
