[باستثناء الحكم المتعلق بالوقت المتاح لرفع الدعوى،] على أحكام هذا الصك المتعلقة بمسؤولية الناقل عن هلاك البضاعة أو تلفها أن تحدد أيضا ما اذا كان يجوز للمرسل إليه أن يرفض الإسهام في العوارية العامة، وفي مسؤولية الناقل عن تعويض المرسل إليه عن أي اسهام قدمه أو أي تكاليف انقاذ دفعها.

[With the exception of the provision on time for suit,] the provisions of this instrument relating to the liability of the carrier for loss of or damage to the goods shall also determine whether the consignee may refuse contribution in general average and the liability of the carrier to indemnify the consignee in respect of any such contribution made or any salvage paid.
