(৪) যদি অনুরোধকারী রাষ্ট্রের সাথে বাংলাদেশের কোন এগ্রিমেন্ট না থাকিয়া থাকে বা তাতে দলিলপত্র প্রত্যয়নের বিধান না থাকিয়া থাকে, এবং কোন দলিলাদি প্রত্যয়ন করবার প্রয়োজন হলে, উপযুক্ত কর্তৃপক্ষ বিধি-বিধান অনুযায়ী প্রত্যয়ন করবার জন্য দলিলের হেফাজতকারীকে নির্দেশ দিতে পারবে অথবা কেন্দ্রীয় কর্তৃপক্ষ কর্তৃক নির্ধারিত পদ্ধতি বা বিধান অনুযায়ী কাজ করবে।

If there is no agreement between the requesting State and Bangladesh or there is no provision in respect of attestingdocuments in the agreement and if any document is required to be attested, the competent authority may direct the custodian of the document to attest the document in accordance with rules and regulations or shall act in accordance with the procedure or provision determined by the Central Authority.
