The polymer has a ratio (effective ionic character / theoretical ionic character) greater than 50 % and a viscosity greater than 1000cP (mPa.s) at a concentration of 8 % at 25 °C and, in a surprising manner, has conditioning characteristics significantly better than those observed for the same product as available in other physical forms.
