The City of Tandil, head of the homonymous Partido (county), is also known as a pilgrimage place. This is mainly because of the fourteen sculpture groups made of stone, of natural size in Monte Calvario; sculptures which represent the Way of the Cross scenes, and it ends on the top of the hill, where a magnificent sculpture of Christ stands.
