Metal casing structures for windows, doors frames and the like which employ a cured polyurethane thermal break (16) produced from a liquid curable formulation catalyzed by a tertiary amine, especially a diazobicyclic compound, between respective interior and exterior facing segments (12, 14) of the casing (10) have much greater resistance to debonding of the break on thermal cycling than do casings manufactured using prior art formulations catalyzed with metal compounds.

L'invention concerne des dormants métalliques de fenêtre, de porte et d'ouvertures similaires constitués d'une barrière thermique (16) en polyuréthane durci obtenue à partir d'une composition liquide durcissable catalysée au moyen d'une amine tertiaire, plus précisément un composé diazobicyclique, ladite barrière thermique étant placée entre les segments opposés intérieur et extérieur (12, 14) du dormant (10).
