After several months of investigation, the Polish Office for Foreigners has given a positive advice, estimating that the fundamental rights of the Norwegian woman had indeed been violated in her country (see the interview of Silje Garmo with Reinformation.tv published on 18 January) and that a return to Norway would let her have the risk to be separated without any reason from her daughter in violation of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and especially of its article No. 8 about the respect for one’s private and family life.

Après plusieurs mois d’enquête, l’Office polonais des étrangers a rendu un avis positif, estimant que les droits fondamentaux de la Norvégienne avaient bien été violés dans son pays (voire notre entretien avec Silje Garmo publié le 18 janvier dernier) et qu’un retour en Norvège lui ferait courir le risque d’une séparation non justifiée d’avec sa fille, en violation de la Convention européenne des droits de l’homme et notamment de son article 8 sur le droit au respect de la vie privée et familiale.
