The natural oils are first treated with alcohols in the presence of an alkaline catalyst in a reactor, after which they settle, separating into an organic phase consisting of fatty acid esters that are treated in a vacuum evaporator in order to eliminate the alcohols and subsequently in a reactor by means of bubbling with a mixture of ozone and oxygen for a certain amount of time that ensures the production of an ozonated oil with a peroxide index higher than 400 meq/kg of oil.
