Yes you can, but only at big retailing outlets. All credit cards are not accepted however, with the most commonly accepted being Visa, Diners and Mastercard. American Express might also be accepted but less frequently. If you are buying anything at a small store, carry cash with you just in case they don't accept credit cards.
