In the context of reshaping the Afghan National Police from a security force to a law enforcement and community policing service, on 25 June the Minister of the Interior convened Afghanistan’s first Community Policing Conference to discuss how to strengthen the relationship between the police and the community.

En el contexto de la reestructuración de la Policía Nacional del Afganistán, que de una fuerza de seguridad deberá convertirse en un servicio encargado de hacer cumplir la ley y realizar actividades de policía de proximidad, el 25 de junio el Ministro del Interior convocó la primera conferencia sobre la policía de proximidad para examinar las vías para fortalecer la relación entre la policía y la comunidad.
