본 발명은 각종 공작기계 또는 선박과 같은 곳에 사용되는 가공물을 가공함에 있어서 절단면의 모서리에 대하여 모따기 처리와 같은 면 처리를 하는 면취기에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는 본 발명은, 구석의 모서리나 벽 등의 간섭이 있는 피가공물에 대한 접근이 용이하고, 피가공물의 두께 변화에 손쉽게 대응할 수 있으며, 가공 작업 시 발생하는 부하를 분산하여 흡수함으로써 장비의 훼손을 막을 수 있는 한편, 피가공물 면에 충분히 정착하여 가공 작업 시의 진동이 최소한으로 발생하도록 함으로써 피가공물에 대한 가공 품질을 향상시킬 수 있는 면취기에 관한 것이다.
