Subject to Sections 33, 34 and 35, where a person is appointed to a position to which these regulations apply, the first pay increment in that position shall become due at the end of the pay increment period for the position calculated from the date of the appointment, if the employee was appointed on the first day of January, April, July or October (referred to as quarterly dates), otherwise from the quarterly date next following the date of the appointment.

Sous réserve des articles 33, 34 et 35, lorsqu'une personne est nommée à un poste visé par le présent règlement, sa première augmentation de traitement à ce poste devient payable à la fin de la période d'augmentation prévue pour ce poste, calculée à compter de la date de sa nomination, si elle a été nommée le premier jour de janvier, d'avril, de juillet ou d'octobre (appelées dates trimestrielles), sinon à compter de la première date trimestrielle qui suit la date de sa nomination.
