Die Edition Block knüpft mit dieser Präsentation und der Fortsetzung ihrer Arbeit bewusst an die Tradition des Untradierten an: Dem allerersten Video-Multiple, das in den Siebzigern mit Nam June Paik herausgegeben wurde, folgt jetzt die erste Video-Installation in einer Auflage von zwölf Exemplaren mit der türkischen Künstlerin Ayse Erkmen.

With this presentation and the continuation of it ́s work Edition Block deliberately takes up the tradition of the non-established: The first video multiple ever, which was edited in the 1970ies with Nam June Paik, is now followed by the first video installation in an edition of twelve copies with the Turkish artist Ayse Erkmen.
