وفي هذا الخصوص أود أن أشيد بدور السلطة وبخاصة في الأيام الأخيرة التي ما فتئت بوضوح تعمل بجد لتمكين المؤسسات العراقية مرة أخرى وتشجيع الصلات بين الأمم المتحدة وهذه المؤسسات.

That is where I would like to pay tribute to the role of the Authority, particularly in recent days, which has explicitly been working hard to let the Iraqi institutions feel empowered again and to encourage links between the United Nations and those institutions.

À ce propos, je voudrais rendre hommage à l’Autorité, qui, surtout ces derniers jours, travaille particulièrement dur pour permettre aux institutions iraquiennes de se sentir à nouveau habilitées et pour encourager l’établissement de rapports entre l’Organisation des Nations Unies et ces institutions.

В этой связи я хотел бы воздать должное Администрации за ее роль — особенно в последние дни, — которая открыто и упорно работает над тем, чтобы иракские учреждения вновь обрели свою динамику, и поощряет контакты между ООН и этими учреждениями.
