وبالنسبة لتحديد وضع اللجوء، وافقت مديرية شؤون اللاجئين التابعة لوزارة العلاقات الخارجية والتجارة والإدماج، بالتنسيق مع وزارة الداخلية، على طلبات اللجوء لفائدة 487 19 امرأة و879 20 رجلاً، من مجموع 711 40 امرأة ملتمسة للجوء و411 49 رجلاً ملتمساً للجوء.

On the question of determining such status, between 2008 and 2011, the Directorate for Refugees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and Integration (MRECI), in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, granted requests for refuge to 19,487 women and 20,879 men out of a total of 40,711 female applicants and 49,411 male applicants.
