A power semiconductor module and a drive circuit are constituted by three units of semiconductor modules and three units of drive circuits corresponding to three-phase AC currents, and power supply units are independently provided for the units of drive circuits, thereby enabling a limp-home function to be equipped and in addition enabling the number, size, and weight of the power supply units to be reduced.
