The present invention relates to a touch screen adopting an optical module system using linear infrared emitters, wherein linear infrared emitters are arranged on three or four sides of a rectangle constituting the touch screen, two or three optical modules are employed to sense the infrared light emitted from the linear infrared emitters, and the shadow generated by the touch of fingers is recognized to detect the location of the touch.

본 발명은 터치스크린 화면을 구성하는 직사각형 테두리의 세 변 또는 네 변에 각각 선형 적외선 발광체를 배열하고 두 대 또는 세 대의 광학모듈을 통하여 선형 적외선 발광체에서 발산하는 적외선을 감지하여 손가락 터치에 의해 생성되는 그림자를 인식하여 그 위치를 파악할 수 있도록 하는 선형 적외선 발광체를 이용한 광학모듈 방식의 터치스크린에 관한 것이다.
