The Constitutional Court had been entrusted with the task of verifying the constitutionality of the decree, which provided that licences could be extended automatically only in the case of television channels that had obtained their licence after the entry into force of the Code, but the Court had not reached a decision on the matter.

Конституционному суду было поручено проверить конституционность этого указа, гласящего, что автоматическое продление срока действия лицензии распространяется только на телевизионные каналы, которые получили свои лицензии после вступления в силу Кодекса аудиовизуальных средств массовой информации. Однако суд еще не вынес решения по этому вопросу.
