وفي إطار حماية الحقوق والحريات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، تلتزم الدولة بتلبية حاجة الأطفال إلى الرفاه وحسن التربية والتعليم والعمل والنماء الفكري، لكفالة تسهيل الإجراءات خلال محاكمة الأطفال في المحاكم، ولضمان حماية الأطفال من العنف وسوء المعاملة والاستغلال في العمل، خاصة عندما يكونون دون سن العمل القانونية، الأمر الذي يمكن أن يضر بصحتهم ويعرض حياتهم أو نماءهم الطبيعي للخطر.

Within the framework of the protection of economic, social and cultural rights and freedoms, the state has the obligation to fulfill the children’s needs for well-being, well-bringing, education, employment, intellectual development, to guarantee facilitating procedures during the trial of children at courts, and to ensure the protection of children against violence, ill-treatment, their exploitation at work, especially when they are under the legal labor age which may harm their health, endanger their life or their normal development.

En el marco de la protección de los derechos y libertades económicos, sociales y culturales, el Estado tiene la obligación de satisfacer las necesidades de los niños en cuanto a bienestar, crianza, educación, empleo y desarrollo intelectual; de garantizar los debidos procedimientos durante los juicios de menores y de velar por la protección de los niños contra la violencia, los malos tratos y su explotación en el trabajo, especialmente cuando estén por debajo de la edad legal para trabajar, puedan ser nocivos para su salud o poner en peligro su vida o desarrollo normal.

Dans le cadre de la protection des droits et libertés économiques, sociaux et culturels, l’État a pour obligation de répondre aux besoins des enfants en ce qui concerne son bien-être, les conditions dans lesquelles il est élevé ou employé, son éducation et son développement intellectuel, de faciliter les procédures en justice dans lesquelles des enfants sont impliqués et de garantir leur protection contre la violence, la maltraitance, leur exploitation au travail, en particulier lorsqu’ils n’ont pas encore l’âge légal de travailler, ce qui peut nuire à leur santé ou mettre leur vie ou leur développement normal en danger.
