وعليه يتعين على الشعب البوروندي والمجتمع الدولي أن يضغطوا من أجل تقديم هؤلاء الذين شاركوا في هذه المذبحة إلى العدالة ووضع حد لثقافة الإفلات من العقاب الراسخة في الحياة السياسية البوروندية

It was therefore incumbent on the people of Burundi and the international community to bring pressure to bear on the Government so that all those involved in the massacre would be brought to justice and the culture of impunity that was so deeply ingrained in the politics of Burundi would be eradicated
