arises from the need to study certain aspects of the history of the architecture of Biscay which are not yet sufficiently clarified; I am referring to the origins and relationships between the banderols towers and “caseríos” (a type of farmhouses), buildings embedded in the Biscay landscape since the middle ages.

El presente trabajo de Tesis Doctoral surge de la necesidad de estudiar ciertos aspectos de la historia de la arquitectura de Vizcaya que todavía no están suficientemente aclarados, me refiero a los orígenes y relaciones entre las torres de banderías y los caseríos, edificaciones insertas en el Paísaje Vascongado desde el medioevo.
