فمنذ منتصف شباط/فبراير، درجت قوة حفظ السلام التابعة لرابطة الدول المستقلة على إبلاغ بعثة مراقبي الأمم المتحدة في جورجيا بخططها لزيادة عدد العربات المدرعة لنقل الأفراد وغيرها من العربات لكل من فريقي العمليات في المنطقتين الشمالية والجنوبية.
