“The use by an individual conducting an initial inquiry, an investigator, a procurator or other employee of a law-enforcement authority or penal institution of torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, i.e. illegal mental or physical duress, on a suspect, accused person, witness, victim or other party to judicial proceedings, a convict serving sentence or the near relative of any of the above using threats, blows, beatings, cruel treatment, torment or other unlawful means in order to secure information of any kind or a confession, to punish them arbitrarily for their conduct or to force them to perform any kind of act, shall be punishable by punitive deduction of earnings for up to three years or up to three years’ deprivation of liberty.

"La utilización por una persona que realice diligencias previas, un investigador, un fiscal u otro empleado de un organismo encargado de hacer cumplir la ley o de una institución penal de la tortura u otros tratos crueles, inhumanos o degradantes, a saber, la coacción ilegal de carácter mental o físico contra un sospechoso, acusado, testigo, víctima u otra parte en actuaciones judiciales, un reo que esté cumpliendo sentencia o un pariente cercano de alguna de las personas mencionadas supra, utilizando amenazas, golpes, palizas, tratamiento cruel, tormentos u otros medios ilícitos a fin de obtener información de cualquier índole o una confesión, castigar arbitrariamente a esa persona por su conducta u obligarla a desempeñar cualquier acto será castigado con una deducción punitiva de ingresos de hasta tres años o con una pena de privación de libertad de hasta tres años.

"Применение пыток и других жестоких, бесчеловечных или унижающих достоинство видов обращения и наказания, т.е. незаконное психическое или физическое воздействие на подозреваемого, обвиняемого, свидетеля, потерпевшего или иного участника уголовного процесса, либо отбывающего наказание осужденного, их близких родственников посредством угроз, нанесения ударов, побоев, истязаний, причинения мучений или иных незаконных действий, совершенное дознавателем, следователем, прокурором или другим работником правоохранительного органа, учреждения по исполнению наказания с целью получения от них какой-либо информации, признаний в совершении преступления, их самовольного наказания за совершенное деяние, либо принуждение их к совершению каких-либо действий, наказывается исправительными работами на срок до трех лет или лишением свободы на срок до трех лет.
