The aim of the Act on Compensation Payments from the Treasury to the Victims of Offences, No. 69/1995, is to improve the position of the victims of criminal actions by having the State Treasury pay compensation for physical injury and non-pecuniary damage resulting from offences against the General Penal Code, and also for damage to objects resulting from these offences.

La finalidad de esta Ley No 69/1995 es mejorar la situación de las víctimas de actos penales haciendo que el erario público pague una indemnización por lesiones y daños no pecuniarios causados por actos castigados en el Código Penal General y también por los daños materiales causados por esos delitos.

L’objectif de la loi no 69/1995 sur l’indemnisation par l’État des victimes d’infractions est d’améliorer la situation des victimes en faisant en sorte que l’État indemnise les victimes du préjudice et des dommages non pécuniaires résultant d’infractions au Code pénal général, y compris les dommages aux biens résultant de ces infractions.
