Fund Allocated to Various Departments In addition to the 23,300 staff of Greater Chennai City and Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram Districts about 4,000 men were pressed into service along with 450 Power Saws, 250 JCB's and 350 Tipper trucks by mobilizing them from other Districts which were not affected by the cyclone to cut and remove the wind fallen trees both on the roads as well as on electric lines.
