Under this scheme, 75% of the cost of the project would be provided as grant from the Town and Country Planning Development Fund for implementing traffic improvement projects subject to a maximum of Rs.1.00 crore for each Municipal Corporation (Except Chennai) and Rs.50.00 lakh for each Municipality and the remaining 25% has to be met by concerned local body from its own funds.

இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ், திட்ட மதிப்பீட்டில் 75 விழுக்காடு நகர் ஊரமைப்பு வளர்ச்சி நிதியிலிருந்து ஒவ்வொரு மாநகராட்சிக்கும் (சென்னை தவிர) அதிகபட்சமாக ரூபாய் ஒரு கோடியும், ஒவ்வொரு நகராட்சிக்கும் அதிகபட்சமாக ரூ .50.00 இலட்சம் என்ற வரையறைக்குப்பட்டு மானியமாகவும், மீதமுள்ள 25 விழுக்காடு உள்ளாட்சியின் சொந்த நிதியிலிருந்து அதன் பங்காகவும் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளப்படுகிறது.
