In addition it comprises a "public" space where the activities concerning the village as a whole are undertaken, especially those involving the contact and collective interaction of the Aweti with all types of outsiders, human and otherwise: this is the space where the messengers and visitors from other tribes and non-Indians are welcomed, where the main scenes of the large rituals unfold (including contact with a number of different beings and spirits) and where dead adults are buried.

Además de esto, constituye un espacio “público” en donde se realizan las actividades que conciernen a la aldea como un todo y, principalmente, aquellas que involucran el contacto y la interacción colectiva de los Aweti con extranjeros de todo tipo, humanos o no; allí son recibidos los mensajeros y los visitantes de otras tribus o los no indios, se desarrollan las escenas principales de los grandes rituales (en los que se contactan varios seres y espíritus diferentes) y son enterrados los muertos adultos.
