The objective of this article is to identify the feasibility of a study of inflation processes at the regional level by means of cluster analysis with a view to the further implementation of the obtained results in the formation of ways to overcome the excessive inflation in Ukraine. At the first stage of cluster analysis three groups of indexes are to be studied: index of industrial production; volume index of gross regional product; consumer price index, which are the most widely used indicator of inflation in the regional context.

На первом этапе кластерного анализа принимаем к исследованию три группы индексов: индекс промышленной продукции; индекс физического объема ВРП; индекс потребительских цен, которые являются самым распространенным показателем уровня инфляции в региональном разрезе.
