The principal objetive of this research was to realize the taxonomic, morphological, etnobotanical and chorological study of the taxa of the family Capparaceae in the Atlántico department (Colombia); the department was crossed and specimens were collected, which were processed according to classical taxonomic techniques.

El objetivo de este trabajo fue realizar el estudio taxonómico, morfológico, etnobotánico y corológico de los taxones de la familia Capparaceae presentes en el departamento del Atlántico (Colombia); para esto se recorrió el departamento y se recolectaron especímenes, los cuales se procesaron según técnicas taxonómicas clásicas.
