Ved skrivelse af 17. december 1996 har Europa-Kommissionen anmodet Rådet for Den Europæiske Union om en samstemmende udtalelse i henhold til EKSF-traktatens artikel 54, stk. 2, med henblik på at yde et lån til Øresundsforbindelsen, København (DK)/Malmø (S) til medfinansiering af et investeringsprojekt, der skal lette afsætningen af EF-stål.

Die Europäische Kommission hat den Rat der Europäischen Union mit Schreiben vom 17. Dezember 1996 gemäß Artikel 54 Absatz 2 des EGKS-Vertrags um Zustimmung zur Gewährung eines Darlehens an Øresundsforbindelsen, Kopenhagen (DK)/Malmö (S) für die Mitfinanzierung eines Investitionsvorhabens zur Erleichterung des Absatzes von Gemeinschaftsstahl ersucht.

By letter dated 17 December 1996 the European Commission requested the assent of the Council of the European Union in accordance with Article 54 (2) of the ECSC Treaty to the grant of a loan to Øresundsforbindelsen, Copenhagen (DK)/Malmö (S) for the co-financing of an investment project to facilitate the marketing of Community steel.
