وحدد مؤتمر القمة التحديات القائمة في مجال الهياكل الأساسية للنقل وتأثيرها على التكامل الإقليمي وتيسير التجارة، مبرزا الدور الرئيسي الذي تؤديه سلطات الموانئ، وداعيا إلى التوقف لمرة واحدة في نقاط الحدود تذليلا للعقبات التي تعترض التجارة بسبب الإجراءات المطبقة لدى اجتياز الحدود.

The Summit identified challenges in the area of transport infrastructure and their impact on regional integration and trade facilitation, highlighting the key role of port authorities and advocating one-stop border posts as a way to address constraints on trade resulting from cross-border formalities.

На Саммите были определены проблемы, препятствующие развитию транспортной инфраструктуры, и их воздействие на региональную интеграцию и усилия по развитию торговли, была отмечена важная роль портовых властей и было настоятельно предложено создавать комплексные пограничные пункты в качестве одного из способов устранения пограничных формальностей, препятствующих торговле.
