The comment lingered for days and I came to the conclusion that it is true; that the hundreds of friends and acquaintances we collect on social media are but a placebo of the time we live in - of course there are meaningful friendships among the lot- but it's a bit like shopping in a frenzy at a mall, you see too much and nothing at the same time.

Hace poco escuché un comentario sobre los contados amigos que en realidad tenemos. El comentario hizo eco en mi mente durante días y llegué a la conclusión de que es cierto (al menos en mi caso), y que los cientos o miles de amigos y conocidos que coleccionamos en las redes sociales, son simplemente un placebo del tiempo en que vivimos.
