A method and apparatus enabling creation of a three-dimensional sweep of a two-dimensional contour by specifying an initial point for the three-dimensional representation, specifying at least one two-dimensional contour, specifying a trajectory vector and generating a three-dimensional sweep conforming to the two-dimensional contour along the path of the trajectory vector.

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un appareil qui permettent de créer par balayage une figure géométrique tridimensionnelle à partir d'un contour bidimensionnel, en spécifiant un point initial pour la représentation tridimensionnelle, en spécifiant au moins un contour bidimensionnel, en spécifiant un vecteur de trajectoire et en produisant par balayage une figure tridimensionnelle qui se conforme au contour bidimensionnel en suivant le tracé du vecteur de trajectoire.
