Darum richte ich einen Aufruf an alle Gläubigen, wirklich Friedensstifter und Urheber von Gerechtigkeit zu sein: „Wer nämlich an der Eucharistie teilnimmt, muß sich dafür einsetzen, den Frieden herzustellen in unserer Welt, die gezeichnet ist von so viel Gewalt, von Krieg und – besonders heute – von Terrorismus, Wirtschaftskorruption und sexueller Ausbeutung.“
