Further, the Ulu-o-Tokelau presented two suggestions: (i) the Special Committee on Decolonization should actively explore the needs of each of the territories and determine whether their capacity to engage internationally was limited or compromised by virtue of their current political status; (ii) the Special Committee on Decolonization should revisit the three self-determination options in relation to the wishes of the Territories as to the type of government they would aspire to under an act of self-determination.

Además, el Ulu-o-Tokelau formuló dos sugerencias: i) el Comité Especial de Descolonización debía estudiar las necesidades de cada territorio de forma activa y determinar si su capacidad de participación en el ámbito internacional se veía coartada o comprometida por su estatuto político vigente; ii) el Comité Especial de Descolonización debía replantearse las tres opciones de libre determinación en cuanto a los deseos de los Territorios sobre el tipo de gobierno al que aspirarían en virtud de un acto de libre determinación.

L’Ulu-o-Tokélaou a ensuite fait deux suggestions : i) le Comité spécial de la décolonisation devrait étudier activement les besoins de chacun des territoires et déterminer si leur capacité à engager des échanges au plan international est limitée ou compromise par leur statut politique actuel; ii) le Comité spécial devrait revisiter les trois options d’autodétermination en fonction du type de gouvernement que les territoires souhaiteraient avoir au titre d’un acte d’autodétermination.

Кроме того, Улу-о-Токелау представил два предложения: i) Специальному комитету по деколонизации следует активно изучить потребности каждой территории и определить, насколько их нынешний политический статус ограничивает или подрывает их способность участвовать в международной жизни; ii) Специальному комитету по деколонизации следует вновь рассмотреть вопрос о трех вариантах самоопределения в связи с пожеланиями территорий в отношении того вида правления, которое они будут стремиться получить на основании акта самоопределения.
