159 (b) a regulation, other than a regulation that prescribes a matter or thing for the purpose of a provision of this Act the contravention of which is otherwise specified to be an offence under this Act, is guilty of an offence and liable (c) on conviction on indictment to a fine of not more than $100,000 or to imprisonment for a term, of not more than five years, or to both, or (d) on summary conviction to a fine of not more than $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term of not more than two years, or to both.

(1) Commet une infraction quiconque contrevient : a) à l’une des dispositions de la présente loi dont la contravention ne compte pas parmi les infractions à cette loi; b) à un règlement, sauf celui qui porte sur une question ou une chose pour l’application d’une disposition de la présente loi dont la contravention compte parmi les infractions à cette loi. Cette infraction est passible, sur déclaration de culpabilité : c) par mise en accusation, d’une amende maximale de 100 000 $ et d’un emprisonnement maximal de cinq ans, ou de l’une de ces peines; d) par procédure sommaire, d’une amende maximale de 10 000 $ et d’un emprisonnement maximal de deux ans, ou de l’une de ces peines.
