A composite luminescent material for solid-state sources of white light which comprise a light-emitting diode that emits radiation in the 430-480 nm range, as well as a mixture of at least two luminophores, the first of which has a yellow-orange glow in the 560-630 nm range, and the second of which is taken from the group consisting of aluminates of alkaline earth metals activated by europium.
