اعتماد قانون منع الاتجار بالأشخاص والمعاقبة عليه، والقانون العام المتعلق بتمتع النساء بحياة خالية من العنف، وقرار إدراج جريمة الاتجار بالأشخاص في القانون الجنائي الاتحادي على النحو الذي أوصت به اللجنة، وإنشاء مكتب المدّعي الخاص لجرائم العنف ضد المرأة والاتجار بالأشخاص، واعتماد برنامج وطني لمنع الاتجار بالأشخاص والمعاقبة عليه، واعتماد بروتوكولات من قبل المعهد الوطني للمهاجرين من أجل الكشف عن حالات الأجانب ضحايا الجريمة وتحديد هويتهم ومساعدتهم، وإمكانية إصدار تأشيرات للضحايا والشهود بحيث يمكنهم البقاء في البلد بصورة قانونية؛

The adoption of the Act to Prevent and Punish Trafficking in Persons and the General Act on Women’s Access to a Life Free of Violence; the incorporation of the offence of human trafficking in the Federal Criminal Code, as recommended by the Committee; the establishment of the Office of the Special Prosecutor for Violent Crimes against Women and Trafficking in Persons; the promulgation of the National Programme for the Prevention and Punishment of Trafficking in Persons; the adoption by the National Institute for Migration of protocols for detecting, identifying and assisting foreign crime victims and for the possibility of issuing visas to crime victims and witnesses so that they may remain in the country legally;

La aprobación de la Ley para prevenir y sancionar la trata de personas y la Ley general de acceso de las mujeres a una vida libre de violencia; la tipificación de la trata de personas como delito en el Código Penal Federal, tal como había recomendado el Comité; la creación de la Fiscalía Especial para Delitos de Violencia contra las Mujeres y Trata de Personas; la promulgación del Programa Nacional para Prevenir y Sancionar la Trata de Personas; la adopción por el Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM) de protocolos para la detección, identificación y atención a extranjeros víctimas de delitos y la posibilidad de otorgar visas a las víctimas y los testigos de delitos para que puedan permanecer legalmente en el país;
