This can be done if we employ an interactive method throughout the training and engage in a constant exchange of ideas on the students’ translation work, which has to be properly prepared and which the students must be asked to carry out with a maximum of independence and accuracy.

Lorsque la traduction est un exercice d’apprentissage linguistique à tous les niveaux – des débutants aux apprenants avancés, pour le lexique, la grammaire, la syntaxe ou l’acquisition d’élements culturels, il s’agit évidemment d’une traduction pédagogique. Voilà pourquoi, ce cas de figure, tout en étant courant dans de nombreux établissements et méthodes de langues vivantes, ne nous intéresse pas vraiment.
