The task it sets out is the introduction of unified legislative guarantees and organizational and legal mechanisms to protect children from information that may be harmful to their physical and psychological health and moral, spiritual, psychological, physical and social development, including via the spread of print, audio and audio-visual materials and electronic and computer games that promote pornography, and information that facilitates targeting children and involving them in human trafficking.

Los objetivos estatales son incorporar garantías legislativas unificadas y mecanismos legales e institucionales para la protección de los niños frente a las informaciones perjudiciales para su salud física y mental y su desarrollo moral, espiritual, psicológico, físico y social, y en particular frente a la difusión de productos impresos, de audio y audiovisuales, juegos electrónicos o de computadora que hagan propaganda de pornografía que contribuya a la victimización de los niños y su involucración en la esfera de la trata de personas.
