কেন্দ্রীয় স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রী ড. হর্ষ বর্ধন, সমস্ত রাজ্য এবং কেন্দ্রশাসিত অঞ্চলের স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তরকে এক চিঠিতে জানিয়েছেন, থ্যালাসেমিয়া, অ্যানিমিয়া এবং হিমোফিলিয়া রোগীদের জন্য ব্লাড ব্যাঙ্কে রক্তের যোগান যেন অব্যহত থাকে তার ব্যবস্থা করতে হবে।

The Joint Secretary further informed: Health Minister has written to the health departments of all states and UTs to ensure adequate availability of blood in blood banks. Blood disorders like thalassemia, sickle cell anaemia and haemophilia require regular blood transfusion.
