It has also been confirmed that, with cadherin-11, expression is induced directly by means of the EMT-inducing transcription factor ZEB2 in colon cancer, liver cancer and gastric cancer cell lines, and thus cadherin-11 can be used to advantage as a pharmaceutical composition for treating or suppressing metastasis of colon cancer, liver cancer and gastric cancer.
