In addition to the bar examination, a candidate is expected to have some experience in the legal profession: 2 years for a judge of the municipal court; 4 years for a judge of the commercial court; 6 years for a judge of the district court; 8 years for a judge of the appellate court, Higher Commercial Court or the Administrative Court; and 12 years for a judge of the Supreme Court of Serbia.
