وقد شملت بعض هذه الأنشطة ما يلي: المؤتمر النسائي للبلدان الأفريقية بشأن ثقافة السلام واللاعنف (زانزبار، جمهورية تنزانيا المتحدة، أيار/مايو 1999)، والتقرير المتعلق بصحة المرأة، والأخلاقيات في المجال الإحيائي، وحقوق الإنسان، الذي أعد في إطار اللجنة الدولية المعنية بأخلاقيات العمل في المجال الإحيائي.

Some of these activities included: the Pan-African women’s conference: Women Organize for Peace and Non-Violence in Africa (Zanzibar, United Republic of Tanzania, May 1999); and the report on women’s health, bioethics and human rights, prepared within the framework of the International Bioethics Committee.
