In the event of death of the parents or other circumstances preventing them to register the birth, the registration is based on a statement by relatives, other persons or the authorized representative of the health establishment where the child was born or is currently treated (article 144 of the Family Code).

En caso de fallecimiento de los progenitores o de otras causas que les impidan registrar el nacimiento del niño, este se inscribirá por declaración de familiares o de otras personas, o de un representante autorizado de la institución de salud donde el niño nació o se encuentra en el momento dado (artículo 144 del Código de Familia de Ucrania).

En cas de décès des parents ou d’incapacité de ceux-ci de procéder à cette déclaration, elle se fait sur la déposition d’autres membres de la famille, d’autres personnes ou du responsable de l’établissement médical où la mère a accouché ou bien où l’enfant se trouve à ce moment-là (art. 144 du Code de la famille).

В случае смерти родителей или невозможности для них по другим причинам зарегистрировать рождение ребенка государственная регистрация производится по заявлению родственников, других лиц, уполномоченного представителя учреждения здравоохранения, в котором родился ребенок или в котором на это время он находится (статья 144 Семейного кодекса Украины).
