During the period under review, the bulk of LRA moved from the Central African Republic to the north-east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where it continues to loot the population, poach elephants in Garamba National Park for the purposes of trafficking ivory, abduct civilians and ambush vehicles for the purpose of transporting looted items.
