• التأكيد على أهمية تضافر الجهود العربية لإحداث إصلاح شامل وجوهري للأمم المتحدة بما يستجيب لمتطلبات وتطلعات الشعوب العربية ولتتمكن المنظمة الدولية من التعامل الفعال مع التحديات الدولية الجديدة في القرن الحادي والعشرين، وبحيث تصبح مؤسسة أكثر ديمقراطية وقادرة على تحقيق العدالة والأمن والسلام والتنمية في العالم، ونطالب بتوسيع العضوية الدائمة في مجلس الأمن بما يتيح لمختلف الأقاليم الجغرافية وثقافات العالم المشاركة في إدارة النظام الدولي.

We affirm the importance of combining Arab efforts to bring about a comprehensive and radical reform of the United Nations in response to the demands and aspirations of the Arab peoples, to enable the international organization to deal effectively with the new global challenges of the 21st century and to make it a more democratic institution, more capable of achieving justice, security, peace and development in the world.

Destacamos la importancia de combinar los esfuerzos árabes para conseguir una reforma amplia y radical de las Naciones Unidas en respuesta a las demandas y aspiraciones de los pueblos árabes, para hacer posible que la organización internacional responda eficazmente a los nuevos desafíos mundiales del siglo XXI y hacer de ella una institución más democrática, más capaz de conseguir la justicia, la seguridad, la paz y el desarrollo en el mundo.

Nous réaffirmons qu’il importe d’intensifier l’action arabe en vue d’une modernisation et d’une réforme complète et radicale de l’Organisation des Nations Unies dans un sens conforme aux besoins et aux aspirations des peuples arabes, afin que l’Organisation puisse intervenir efficacement pour relever les nouveaux défis du XXIe siècle et devienne une instance plus démocratique et plus apte à instaurer la justice, la sécurité, la paix et le développement dans le monde.

Мы подтверждаем важность объединения общеарабских усилий для проведения всеобъемлющей и коренной реформы системы Организации Объединенных Наций с учетом требований и чаяний арабских народов, для содействия этой международной организации в том, чтобы она эффективно противостояла новым глобальным вызовам XXI века, и для ее преобразования в более демократический институт, в большей степени способный обеспечить справедливость, безопасность, мир и развитие в мире.
