On 1936 the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico was created as an educational alternative for workers son and it's families, few time later the Regional Institutes of Technology were founded as a branch of the Polytechnic Institute on few states of the republic, the most of them do not have any University in own territory.

En 1936 se creó el Instituto Politécnico Nacional de México como una alternativa educativa para los hijos y sus familias, poco tiempo después se fundaron los Institutos Regionales de Tecnología como una rama del Instituto Politécnico en algunos estados de la República, la mayoría no tiene ninguna universidad en su propio territorio.
